Since July 2005 the GEA group has been operating under the name of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft. GEA stands for Global Engineering Alliance, a name which underlines the fact that the company is a multinational technology group.

With sales of more than EUR 1 billion and approx. 4,000 employees working in more than 40 countries, GEA Process Engineering is recognised as a world leader within industrial drying with liquid processing, concentration, drying and aseptic packaging as our core technologies. GEA Process Engineering is part of GEA Group, headquartered In Germany. Today, GEA Barr-Rosin, led by Managing Director Ilija Aprcovic, who began his career with B&M in 1984, is just as committed to development and progress as its founders were half a century ago.
The company's declared aim is 'To be the recognised leader in the supply of pneumatic drying systems through the continuous development of innovative technologies.'
Technology is not everything however. GEA Barr-Rosin Ltd's philosophy is to ensure that its clients are completely satisfied with the systems they buy, regardless of their complexity. Clients rely on the company's systems to operate their businesses - and with drying systems expected to perform for 30 years or more clients can be assured that they can call on the company at any time for technical support. There can be no greater endorsement than that provided by Bisto Gravy, which is dried on equipment supplied by the firm, and which is still maintained by Barr-Rosin after more than 50 years in use. Truly dried and tested!
