Column Dryer & Cooler

Heating or cooling trials can be conducted using either vertical dimple plates or horizontal tubes as internal heat transfer elements. Several gas distributors are available to ensure uniform counter-current gas flow up through the column. The following equipment is available:

• Column processor with internal contact heat transfer tubes, fitted with heating/cooling water distribution manifold and control valves, vibrating discharger, and purge gas distribution system. Unit is available for use at clients' site.
• Column dryer with internal contact heat transfer plates, vibrating discharger, and purge gas distribution system. Unit is available for use at clients' site.
• Non-tubed column dryer fitted with gas dehumidification and electric heating. This unit is skid mounted for use at clients' site.
